We just ordered four muscovy ducklings. We have a serious mosquito problem here and I have bad reactions to their bites.
Oh BTW chewing up some plantain and putting the mash on the bite is far more effective than any spray or ointment I've used.
Anyways in the years we've had muscovy ducks the mosquito populations were held in check as were slugs and snails.
We don't want to raise and sell muscovies for meat, we'll bring them in to do a job and give them away in the fall.
Natural pest controls are far better than chemical.
